">Re:Voir is a French label dedicated to (re-)publishing and distributing experimental and artistic movies such as from the Dadaist and Surrealist movements, but also contemporary arthouse cinema. Besides a boutique in Paris, Re:Voir runs a webshop and an application where you can browse their catalogue and stream the films 24/7.The screenshots in this post show the interface of the Re:Voir online app. It was developed by Pilote Paris, a studio with a special interest in contemporary art and an obsession for detail and fine typography.The typeface in use is Stratos, a geometric sans-serif that combines condensed uppercase glyphs with a more regularly wide lowercase of modernistic appeal. This leads to a different flavor in all-caps typesetting, which can be observed well in this example. Stratos was designed by Yoann Minet and released at Production Type in 2016. From 2017 to 2018 the family was extended with Cyrillic by Ilya Ruderman and Yury Ostromentsky and Greek by Irene Vlachou.
